NSCDC Promises Safe Atmosphere Before, During And After Elections

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), said no stone will be left unturned in its effort to provide a safe atmosphere for eligible voters before, during and after the elections.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the Deputy Commandant General of the Corp, Mr Bello Sulyman says hi-tech security measures have been put in place for the protection of eligible voters and election materials. Assuring Nigerians of their security during the elections, Mr Sulyman announced the convening of a town hall meeting by the NSCDC in addition to the use of forensic psychologists, well trained animals in high risk areas and modern equipped surveillance vehicles for monitoring and detection of crime.
