Patrick Bamford struck early in the second half as Middlesbrough stunned Manchester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup at the Etihad Stadium. The Chelsea loanee capitalised on a poor error from City goalkeeper Willy Caballero to slide in and finish from point-black range, before substitute Kike sealed the result in stoppage time.
Manuel Pellegrini's side have now been knocked out of the cup at home to Championship opposition in successive campaigns, after being knocked out by Wigan last season.
